No I haven't really done any traveling with the car. I just go to the local events in south florida. It's too expensive to bring the car around the state or neighboring states. I would like to though.

ya for sure. I would like too. Maybe if the car gets more consistent. I dont really know what class I could be competitive in either.
 

Thinking about it but its looking like rain. There's an event on Sunday I would like to go to but I would have to clear that with the wife! LOL. If not maybe next week. I took the car to get weighed today and was a little disappointed coming off the scales at 2640 with no driver. I thought it was a little lighter than that.
 
Is your profile up to date? Would you possible use the n2o the whole way just to see what it might do?

yup the profile is up to date. I dont think the nitrous would do much using it down the track. Its a pretty small shot. I know I wouldn't try it. I rather try to go faster by cutting better 60fts then throwing more power at it.

As for the nitrous, spraying a 60 shot down the track but pulling timing in order to spray it would pretty much cancel itself out. I tried to spray a 60 shot on top of the hx35 and I think it went slower LOL. It didnt even feel like it was working. The car needs nitrous to launch and thats pretty much it.

And nitrous is not cheating. Aint no rules in how you drive or use YOUR OWN CAR.

I saw your dyno chart, but I couldnt see the RPM scale at bottom. Where does your car make peak power? The bep t3 and BC 272 on a 2.0 I would guess peak power at 7500-8000
 
Im spraying a small dry shot. I might up it soon if the car doesn't leave better with this setup. I have a boost curve for the track which is 25lbs up to 40lbs. Im not sure about airflow. Those numbers are off anyways. Thanks for kind words guys.


Here's another pic of the dyno chart when the car was on the 5speed but everything else is the same. I lifted early on this dyno pull cause the turbo blew.

Are you shifting into 4 gear with the auto?

I would swap the BC 272 for some GSC S2 or S3 or Kelford 272 or 280. That should push peak power to 7500. Shifting a 8-8.5k will keep u out of 4th gear.

I would also switch to a 75 wet shot.

He's running through the lights @ ~8900 (145-146mph) in 3rd on the 26" tires from what I recall him sharing earlier.

If his current shot is getting him up on the converter with the boost he needs, why would he switch to a bigger kit?
