I just bought the Full ss clutch line that goes from the master to slave cyl. How do I route the line from the master to the clutch fluid dampaner thing? Does it go behind the engine, under the battery then pop out in that area? I'm mostly confused about the route that the line is suppost to follow.

Thanks,
Chris

By 'clutch fluid damener thing' do you mean accumulator? If so, that line won't work as it's meant to go from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder.

The line will follow the same path as the hard line did, which you pretty much described. From the master, along the firewall/subframe, under the transmission mount bracket, and to the slave. You can see it in this picture - it's easiest to find all the way on the left under the transmission bracket.

Why dont you just follow the line you have on now? Kinda common sense, isnt it?

the full SS clutch line that i had was long enough i ran it down the firewall and around the battery then down over the tranny mount on the passenger side. if you look in the picture above ^^^ you'll see the SS line popping up by my battery/catch can then dropping down to the slave cylinder.

The line does not stop there, Thats where I can see it pop out from under everything.

Thanks for the pics.

The install was a joke, for once. I ran it with the vacuum hard line on the firewall, behind the battery, then above the trans mount, ending at the slave cyl. Now I have about 11in of extra line, I was planning to just zip-tie it to the chassis out of the way.

Thanks for the pics again!

Its on extremepsi.com, I thought that they had one for 1g's.

Is a 1g different than a 2g? I'm replacing the accumulator with the line but I'm not sure which to get. I have a 2g body but a 6 bolt 1g engine (unknown on which transmission I have, also unknown if it matters)
