I’ve read posts of leaking o-rings that sit on spacers but there is another option that would eliminate the spacer and o-ring! Try using a Toyota fuel pump seal! (23239-21010) You can order the seal at any Toyota dealership. The seal has a very snugged fit and is pictured on a Walbro fuel pump.

I cut the barbs off of my fuel tube and go straight hose with double clamps on both sides.....another way to fix the leaking oring problem. :thumb: ;) not trying to be a smart-ass.

Did you run JUST this Toyota piece and no other pieces? Just ordered this for mine, but wondering what (if any) other parts need to stay for this to work, including any orings, the large black spacer or the top OEM plastic ring (normally brown in color).

By the way, your links show pictures of an exhaust LOL. Thanks for the help!

Just order the fuel pump grommet for a Lancer Evolution. It's available on STM's website for $4 or so.

Update for anyone interested:

I ended up just running the Toyota piece only (no other part from the previous set up) and it wound up pushing past the neck completely and causing a leak back to the tank.

I have a feeling it pushed through as I was pushing the pump back into the assembly, then once pressure was introduced, it pushed out all the way. I left it there (mostly in replacement of the large OEM black spacer) and put 2 rubber o-rings above it, along with the plastic top hat. Probably overkill, but it's not going anywhere and has been working correctly ever since.
