I have to replace O-ring on power steering pump (bolt on top) and thinking about buying assorted set of O-rings at Harbor freight. Problem is they have several types and wondering if regular Nitrile is good for PS units and other applications in general for car? Because set of 225 Nitriles are only $3.99, Hydrogenated Nitrile $9.99 + Viton $10.99.

Mine appears to be leaking from the top bolt only so I bought Nitrile o-ring set from Harbor Freight (225 for $3.20) Didn't put it in yet but thinking one of them in the set should fit. Wish I seen leak earlier because my alternator shorted out and was possibly caused by this slight leak.
