To begin with, what problems are you having with your car? We don't really have any background information to determine if your mechanic (1) knows exactly what he is doing and (2) if it could really be an ECU problem.

I agree with pulling out the ECU, opening up the case and taking some good high definition pictures for others to evaluate.

If it ISN'T an ECU problem...you could sell that ECU to another member or trade for a regular non-eprom ECU to front your new repair bill....:sneaky:

Okay I'll take some pictures of the computer mechanic says that there its not grounding out properly which is the problem and is putting up the idle air control motor fault code and the mdp sensor fault code and the idols is ruff sometimes thanks for the help

One more thing, don't i want the eprom ecu so i can use a plug and play ecmlink or something like it? i cant afford the aim stand alone im balling on a budget

Have him pin out the ECU then to see if it's getting a proper ground signal.

Here are some common ECU damage areas to check out. If the ISC is having issues it could either be the driver (info/pictures can be found in the first link) or the ISC itself.

According to your profile you have the stock engine. Just want to verify that's true and you don't happen to have a 6 bolt swap.
