So currently cranks no start. I get no check engine light when key is in run position which I am supposed to have. I have done some testing

Mfi relay
Red with black stripe - I have power on both pins at all times
Black with white stripe - I have ignition power
Blue with green stripe - I have power at all times
Black with red stripe - I have power when ignition is on
Red - I have ignition power
Mfi relay clicks

Ecu
Pin 80, I have power at all times
Pin 82 I have ignition power
Pin 38, I have power with they off, then drops when key is on
Pin 12 I have power when key is on
Pin 25 I power when key is on

Anything I missed or need to check? Any help is greatly appreciated. Pic of my ecu opened up if that helps anything

Well I have discovered the previous owners put the connectors in the wrong ones. Switched them around and bam. Got my check engine light to turn on. I have discovered the injectors aren’t firing. I have fuel at the rail

I do have spark, previous owner did a timing belt job, should probably look it over considering the mess I’ve been having to deal with

Also found I don’t have an injector resistor pack, so I have to get one of those

That ECU… is MD313046? E2T61673?

It’s a JDM ECU but I can’t imagine the wiring or function being all too different. @DSMPT - anything odd the OP may need to be aware of using the D32A JDM ECU in a USDM car?

@steve any experience with that one?

No clue what injectors are in it. I assume stock. Previous owners had the engine shipped in from Japan after he blew up the 6A12TT the previous owner to him swapped in. Said the engine had about 65k miles on it give or take. If I remember correctly it is MD313046. I’ll double check a little later when I’m around the car again

C203 has started leaking so it's time to replace all but I don't have any experience with non-domestic ECUs. It fits somewhere between the early 95 2G and late 95 2G ECUs based on the them being E2T61672 and E2T61674.

I have low impedance injectors according to the ohm reading I got. Ohms were either 2.5 or 3.5 last night (I don’t remember which one) when I was checking. I have the injector resistor pack in the hatch. For some reason they had it spliced into the front main harness connector(a-32). When I go to mess with the car a little later, I’ll hook that back up and see what magic it works. Thanks for the replies everyone. Slowly getting somewhere

You will need the injector resistor pack then. I am sure there are plenty sitting around on a table, desk, drawer from some of our other members.

Brian, the JDM ECU should start a US DSM. I have one from a JDM 2G GST, it just fires up my US 2g Eclipse GSX without any modification. Maybe only swapping the spark plug cable ordering would be necessary depending on the model year just like US DSM between 2GA and 2GB. As much as I know, the differences are JDM Eclipse don't have EGR, MDP sensor and have a CAT high temp sensor instead of rear O2 sensor and front O2 sensor has only two wires without heater.
And usually JDM cars have the speed limiter at 180km/h, I haven't confirmed it by myself but JDM Eclipse ECU may have it, too.
