2g automatic timing

Hi guys, I just have a question, I just replaced my ECU with a 95 eprom 5spd ECU, Now i would like to know if the timing should still be pulled by the new ECU when the transmission shifts like it did with my old one, The way it looks now it does not pull it any more and just wanted to know if it is normal or some thing is wrong!!

I thoght the turbo 2g's all use the same ecu, auto or 5 spd?
