Short story is having knock issues at very modest afr on pump gas. Turns out my base timing is set as the picture shows. Should I be adjusting this in link to get to 5* base?

If you still have the 2g cas you cannot adjust it. I have seen them vary some from machine work but i don't thing that far off before. So with car idling and timing pin grounded in ecm link its idling at TDC for ignition timing? I would almost wonder if you are not off a tooth some where on timing. I usually check it then just remember and figure it into it when tuning. So say it was to be at 3 deg instead of 5. Then what ever ecm link says i know its really 2 deg less ignition timing.

I just checked the timing with ecmlink and timing grounded and was reading 5* so seems like things are okay. I'm grasping at straws at this point to explain the knock I'm seeing. I'll send some logs over.
