ok i have a basic base timing question...i tuned my car after a few upgrades, evolll turbo,2g maf,2g manifold, turbo back exhaust, dsmlink v3 ,pte 1000cc injectors, walbro 255,pretty much thats all..ok well i keot gettin crazy counts of knock like 14 on 15psi... i took it to the dyno and it put down horrible numbers..and i pretty much had to run -10 degrees of timing to get it to stock knocking...after awhile i started to double chck everything and my base timing was set to advanced 18 degrees. could this be the reason i kock alot? i went ahead and set it to advanced 5 and the car pulls alot harder, i have not done a log to check if the knock is gone..

so my question is , could the base timing being off could be the reason to my knocking issues?

Definitely is the reason. That's why you had to use negative timing to try to get things back to normal.

cool deal, tomorrow im gonna fill up on e85 and start dataloggin and tuning, keep you guys informed
