After i got the valves replaced in the head and fixed the timing system issue that threw my belt and drove a little bit on it to finish breaking in the engine it was time for a tune.
so i drove 100 miles to Pure Tuning, in Toledo, OH and got the car tuned by Keith - who knew his crap but didn't have sufficient enough time to really get to play with tuning the car let alone finish the tune do to the car miss firing..
But anyway he made a bunch of successful runs and unfortunately i only got the first ATTEMPT at a pull he was aiming for 18 psi but only got to 4600 RPM and had to kill it cause he seen the boost spike up past 24PSI.
And since i never owned a Turbo car before had no clue you HAD to have a boost controller
so he installed a nice Hallman Pro MBC.
Sorry for the quality of this- i was video'ing to send it via the cell phone but here is that run that he had to kill early... unfortunately i couldn't get the good successful pulls at 19psi because my phone battery was low[/SIZE]
97 GSX dyno pull early shut down 4600 RPM
but all in all i ended up with a successful tune at 19 PSI. She made 329WHP @ 5,500 RPM and 320 Ft-lbs of torque.
next time i'll be (most likeley) on meth or race gas, have an 8k rev limit and hoping for 500HP
