So today after two years of building my engine in my living room i finally got a chance to break my engine in. Well all went well except for one thing after i fired her up at the shop i lost tension on my timing belt tensioner pulley bolt. Took the cover off and come to find the bolt actually loosened up and the tension on the belt was released. Checked my timing marks and the crank shaft had jumped a tooth on timing...... Crossing my fingers i reset everything retorqued to spec again and fired it up. Reading 22in Hg at idle so im hoping everything is all right! Went for a drive and drove the first twenty miles really getting on it to seat the rings correctly accellerating and decellerating a few times boost set to 10 psi. Went back to the shop and changed the oil nice and nasty looking already not really sure if its from all the assembly lube. Continued to drive 45 miles and everything seems to be running great. Woke up the next morning started the car early to make sure it was warm when i go to work well this is when things went bad.. car idles rough and is stalling and its ice cold out.. drove it to work and barely made it there with the engine knocking...... double check my timing the belt loosened up again!!!! wtf?!?!? Wondering how i lost tension over night i took the cover off and the tensioner pulley bolt loosened up again........ This time the crankshaft has jumped two teeth :( hoping everything is ok i grabbed some red locktite reset everything again and torqued it down.... Car still runs great i consider myself really lucky having 10k into the motor and spending two years building it oil pressure still reading 32psi at idle warm no engine noise and vacuum readings still the same i hope everything will be ok tomorrow.

I think i would have pooped my self! LOL I always leave my top cover off so i can inspect my belt tension during the first 100 miles so i know everything is ok! Keep a closer eye on things you should be ok! Go play the power ball you might win! LOL

Im having that sa,e problem and I only drove mines around the block.
