I know it'll be a good time. Still debating if I'll bring one of the Talons, though.

I know we will be rolling out in my Eclipse and my buddies Talon. Its the first time he'll be having a car there too.

The evo turbos are stock appearing turbos that are legal. The DSM FP turbos don't count to my understanding. Excluding the 68HTA.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Given his clarification I would say that you are incorrect. He even said FPblacks .

Yes, The FP Black and Green for the EVO would be counted...just not the DSM. Thanks for making me have to explain it in greater detail though.

Rules seem clear to me but I wrote them. ANY Mitsubishi STOCK APPEARING turbo that came on a 1g, 2g or EVO is legal for the Stock Appearing Turbo DSM class. So yes, FP Red's and Blacks for the EVO can be used on the DSM.

I wouldn't either, but hell what do I know? I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to these cars. BUT, that's probably why its called stock " appearing ". A quick glance, housing looks stock. Run it, ya know?

Yes DSE or bracket or TT.

DSE is going to be ridiculous again this year. I expect to see several mid-9 second autos. Hope to have mine well into the 9s by then and give them all a run for their money! This will be my 4th Shootout but only my first with a car!
