217 farenheit operating temp?

Is this a normal operating temp for a !st gen Tsi AWD? My temp gauge which i just replaced said i was running really hot, I logged it at a friends house and it says the temp is 103 degrees celsius or 217.4 farenheit.

just dont let it get past 220-221. Also have you removed any plastic ducting in front of the radiator?

you're getting timing pulled at those temps.
check your:
coolant
coolant lines
thermostat
radiator
fans..

etc..
