I already have an on switch for the sprayer but what I want to do is to spray for about 5 seconds turn off for 2 minutes and repeat the cycle .does anybody know how I can do this with a relay capacitor diodes and resistor please thanks.

A capacitor can be used as a time delay unit. Resistors change how fast it charges. That assembly switches a relay once capacitor is charged. That's all i know so you'll have to do more research but hopefully this will give you a starting point.

What did you use for your setup? I'd like to put that blank button up by the hazards and the rear defogger to good use. Did you just use all the evo stuff?

I used the windshield washer hose already ran for me. Tapped into the harness and ended up putting a 100 degree temp sensor on the circuit to kick on the fan and water sprayer.

Using a hobbs switch will have too much of a delay in the evaporative cycles. You want the system the be regulated or on before you "lean" on the car. That way the core is already at a lower temperature and does not spike as high.

Its not really feasible to run a system like this full time as fluid capacity becomes an issue with extended driving, however, for short duration it would be work well.

For a timing system, look up a simple 555 timer board wired to a relay. You should be able to easily find the resistance and capacitor values for your specific needs.

Im building a similar circuit board for a DIY injector cleaner.

::EDIT::

Found one for you.
