2.4 swap tuning neccessary

Hello, I am in the middle of swapping out the 2.4 galant block on my tsi awd. I was wondering if any fuel adjustments would be necessary right away or if I can wait until I got more cash. I am not changing injectors or ecu or anything yet so I would think it would not change any thing fuel related let me know your thoughts.

I am basically wondering if there is any tuning that MUST be done for my car to run right so I can plan ahead and won't leave my car sitting in my driveway with a brand new engine but still can't run know what i mean.

So your swappping a 2.4 block with stock pistons and rods on a turbo dsm? I really hope thats not what you saying. Just want to clarify because you dont really say much. Fuel pressure depends on alot of things and what you setup is going to be.....[/

yes that is what I am saying the job is pretty much done, rods pistons rebuilt head all of that is good right now. It is the galant block with the 2gn head the motor starts and everything I just got some minor adjustments new hoses to get and things like that. I will be getting Dsm link or something as soon as soon as possible.(don't worry I won't be the one tuning it) Im just wondering if the bigger block would affect the fuel using the stock 2gen fuel parts.

yea you need some sort of fuel control imediatly if you plan to run open loop ( boost and part throttle accel) because the stock 2.0 lower compression fuel maps are totally wrong for a car that is running a 2.4 and 9.5.1 compression. Dsmlink will be great but since your have the DOHC head I would suggest just getting an SAFC because the fuel curve and timing is basically still correct.

For fuel for your setup since you can't run more than 10-12 psi regularly I would suggest getting some 550cc injectors and and SAFC.
