    New fully built and complete 2.4 4G64 bottom, 4G63 head engine installed. I purchased a real carbon fiber dash, console, gauge pod, door sills, and lower dash kit $2000. Supporting mods such as new ported T28 turbo, ported manifold, gaskets, BOV, powder coating valve cover and all hard inter cooler piping, and other bolt on mods needed for new engine. I have every receipt and have a small "build book" that I will have made when the car is complete that shows the process from start to finish and full documentation with pics. This car runs absolutely amazing.
    My goal is to have a custom professionally built, high quality/stock looking show car, fast everyday driver. I still have another $10,000-$15,000 to go to fully complete the eclipse GST spyder. I will have completed by March 2018.

    I have a 2.4 4g64 block and 4g63 head motor build in my GST Spyder. I took it to get tuned last week. My dip stick blew out at high boost. I just replaced the pcv valve with a straight through NPT Fitting and catch can set up.

    Ive done some research on the forums and im trying to figure out why my new T28 turbo on my new engine build blew up when my tuner was driving my car at high boost between tuning sessions. It blew the dip stick out and sprayed oil on my engine. Now there is white smoke coming out of my exhaust and he says he thinks my new turbo is blown. He says he thinks the engine may have too much blow by/crankcase pressure and thats why he thinks my dipstick blew out and blew my turbo seals. Im a little confused because the engine build is brand new with less than 300 miles. block and head were machined and everything was built to spec. Manley 9.5:1 pistons/eagle rods. Has anyone else ever had this problem on a completely new engine build? Next I will be doing a compression test to make sure piston rings are good.

    pull the manifold & look for oil... if in he head it is motor related. If oil is only in the turbine housing & downpipe then suspect the turbo shaft seals

    Was the turbo recently rebuilt? How is the oil being fed to the turbo?

    I would say dip stick blowing out and oil spraying is a sign of crank case pressure.
    Bad rings cause crank case pressure.
    I would think your turbo is okay and your block or PCV system needs attention.
    just my 2 cents.

    Also I see you mention removing your pcv valve and using a straight through fitting with a catch can.
    Do you have a picture of your pcv setup? Are you getting enough ventilation?

    If you don't have large lines with a vented can, I'd be willing to bet your CCP is extremely high, and you need to have some kind of draw on the crank case to alleviate pressure when on boost. Some of it is probably blow-by related, you need to verify that you have no possible boost sources being introduced to the crank case.

    Post some pics of your pcv setup.
