I wanted to know if any one is running a 2.3 with an evo turbo? Wanted to know spool times and if the turbo falls off boost in the upper rpms. Thanks Sean.

TurboDSMer said:I know it will spool faster than what it does on the 2.0 but that is good to know that the boost won't fall off in the upper rpms. What times does your friend pull with that set up?
RavenX said:You shouldn't have any problems with boost falling out.
JoeWagon said:What does "up top" mean? What do you consider "up top"? Yes, any 16g will drop boost at high RPM, sooner at elevation, and sooner also on a stroker. This is like asking if a turbo spools fast or slow. You want to know at what RPM the boost starts dropping from where to where.

Another thing i want to add as well is that with stock cams boost will fall out more in the upper rpm's unless you get cams but am sure you know this already :)[/QUOTE said:Don't you mean power instead of boost? I don't see how upgradeing to bigger cams would help keep boost from dropping? The engine would consume more air per rev with upgraded cams.
My buddy has a 2.0 with 9:1's and he's building boost on the evo3 @ 3100.
