1g valves on a 2g head?

Title says it all, can I put 1g valves on a 2g head? I've never done head work, but I have a 1g ported and polished with new valves can I take them off and put them on my 2g because my 2g valves arnt sitting all the way due to my timing belt breaking. The pistons are fine.

If you bent the valve in the 2G head you'll need to have the guides checked for cracking.

The actual valves should be interchangeable between the heads but you can't just thrown them in and expect them to seal.

Ok thanks steve ill get the head checked and just have the shop swap them over.

It seems pointless to take apart a good head to swap the valves over. If you can't afford to replace the valves in the 2G head, sell off the good head to cover fixing the other or consider swapping it.

I've thought about doing that, I've also thought about getting a new intake and tb and just swapping then 2g for the 1g.
