Ask Me, Virginia
I have an e316g and I am running 18-20 psi on a 1g MAF. Is this ok or do I need to upgrade? I eventually plan on running 25 psi with it.

Also, if I were to get a 2g MAF, does the existing intake piping connect to it with no problems?

Just looking for some answers. Please do not pm me to sell me one. If I want one, I'll let you know in this post.

Thanks

It's not the amount of boost it's the amount of airflow that overruns the MAS. A unhacked 1g MAS (at sea leave and 77* temps) won't accurately meter air after roughly 28lbs/min of airflow.

Odds are you're at those limits now, once you turn up the boost to the 25psi you plan on running you'll definitely be flowing over 30lbs/min.

Just an FYI. Putting a want to buy ad up in this post is against site rules so, if you want one, post it in your regional forum or our classifieds since you have access.

Your my only hope obe wan. :tease:

As long as you aren't getting fuel cut or any issues, and your AFR's are good you'll be fine. I'd go straight to SD though, it's so easy and gets rid of all restrictions. :)

Missed your post.

Thanks for the information..hmmm.

Won't post it here...just tired of being bombarded with "helpful" people who always pm to sell me a part whenever I have a problem.
