So i sold my old talon shell. (Kept my newly rebuilt motor.) :(. But i have moved to bigger and better things! I bought a 2ga awd talon with motor and trans. I'm taking absolutely no shortcuts! Car should be running this
weekend with video.
*The new car has no rust, dents or scratchs, either underneath of on the outside. The interior is great!
New Parts:
e316g
Piston rings.
Head surfaced
all new gaskets
Main and rod bearings
New shell
Punishment Fmic
Mishimoto Radiator.
Modified motor mounts
Ported o2 housing,manifold,head
Polished the turbo OMG

So I notice that you have 1g cam gears on there. The 2ga requires the cam angle sensor to be attached to the timing side. I am sure you new that but make sure you switch its over before you have the engine in the car.

well actually you dont need any of the 2ga cam angle sensors IF you buy the wiring harness that plugs into the stock 2ga locations and then you plug the other end into the 1g either green top or black top sensors both would work BUT me and him are going to use the 2ga cam angle sensors off the old motor because this motor is a 93 and has the bolts for them

Looks nice... but there is rust on the passenger strut tower next to the fender...

Is that the ebay 16g? I ask because it looks to have an adjustable WGA on it.

If you havent already I would use the 1g CAS setup. I had a 2ga tsi and things get ugly if you ever have belt wear, I had the belt fray and took out the upper and lower sensor and the car was DOA. Also with the CAS setup you can adjust timing.
