1G 1g awd rear engine mount

Depends on the drivetrain, not on whether the car is a 1GA or B. AWD rear mounts are different than FWD mounts, plus they are different in AWD between auto and manual. For FWD, there is an auto mount that is different from the manual mount as well; this includes all FWD DSMs, both 1.8L and 2.0L, turbo and non-turbo.

Not sure what’s going on. One on the left is what I got today and the one on the right is what came off the car. The person I purchased the car from gave me the same mount that’s on the left. Anyone know which mount the shorter one is off of?

I’d use this one but I had to cut off the bolt which was seized

Hey @TK's9d2TSi , just curious what you ended up doing. My car was an auto and Im working on swapping it to a manual. It had the shorter mount originally. I ordered the AWD manual mount to do the swap and I also received the taller mount. My issue is that the taller mount wont bolt to the frame.

Did you ever try installing the taller mount? If so, did the bolt holes line up?
Do you have a manual trans and did you just go back to the shorter mount?

Couldn’t get the shorter mount. I used applied quik steel and it’s been fine. The taller mount bolt holes won’t line up.
