I have a low mileage 1g only 66,985 miles, 91 Eclipse GS 2.0L natural aspirated Automatic trans DSM. Currently I am waiting for the ECU to be repaired. the belts have been replaced fluids are all up to date and been flushed filters replaced. I am thinking I would like to turbo the car, what needs to be done to both the trans and the engine in order to turbo the car I plan on keeping it a daily driver but would like to take it to the track once and a while for fun.

I know I need a turbo, bov, waste gate, intercooler, piping, oil lines, gauges, may be bigger ingectors, may be bigger fuel pump, boost controler maybe some electroncs or electrical mods

I would like to make as close to 12 to 18 psi of boost as possible but I do not want to replace the pistons or take the engine apart to install parts any time soon. I kind of want to be able to convert it back to stock fast if needed I never know If a GSX might cross my path then I will do engine internal upgrades.

I have no idea what I would need to do for the automatic transmission and yes I want to keep it auto as much as I would love a stick again my wife drives the car once and a while and she does not want to drive stick. If I get a GSX my wife can have her own DSM thats auto and I can have my stick.

I am not looking to buy a GSX at this time maybe in 5 years after college.

Please hit me up with any thing you all have that will help me with this small build

Its very hard or nearly impossible to make 12-18psi on a 420a motor without doing internals. A good build is around 8psi. There is also a PDF that you can find in the 420a sections of the forum that is called "The 8lb Build"

Dude. He has a 91. I'm pretty sure it's a 4g63 n/t. Turboing (sp?) would be a lot easier than a 420a. You need to be careful what you post or you are going to get another red chicklet.

This guy is a 1G, so his is 4g63. I ran a N/T motor boosted @ 15lbs for almost 2 years in a 92 TSi, they hold up fine. Just keep the octane high.

is there a adapter that can be use near or on the oil filter area for oil feed and return lines for a turbo so I do not have to get a different oil pan or drill and tap the oil pan I currently have

You either have to get a turbo oil pan or drill and tap yours. I would recommend keeping your oil pan and gettting a fitting welded on since the turbo oil returns always leak at the pan anyways.

NO!!!!

I've got a spare 13g or two..Unless you want a 14b, I don't have an extra.

I'm a bit concerned with using the NT automatic with a converted turbo motor.

Turbo automatics were more beefier to handle the higher power and torque, being the F4A33 is the turbo automatic, where the NT's were the lighter F4A22-2 where the OP wants to gain those boost numbers.

Might have to look into that - which includes the stronger torque converter, a possible changeout of the flex plate, and matching starter.
