Ive started converting my eclipse gs to a gst. I purchased all new internals and i dropped the compression to that of a stock gst 8:3.1. Ive gotten a hold of an ecu from a GST but will i also need to get a GST harness or will mine work. And whats the major difference between a turbo and non turbo head?

do a search, but stock turbo compression is 7.8:1,no difference in the head but cams, and you can use your harness, just splice in a few wires to the new turbo ecu.

ok , but i bought wiseco pistons 8:3.1 compression will i be alright? i read about alot of people running them. and when u say splice wires to the turbo ecu will i need the connectors from a turbo harness?

yea those pistons will be more than fine.and youll just need to add wires to the turbo ecu.knock sensor,7th mas wire,etc...
