1G 1g auto full line pressure (blue wire mod)

I want to do the so called "blue wire mod" to my 1g auto using a switch and a resistor to engauge full line pressure at full throttle my question is what ohm resistor do I use and does anyone have the wiring diagram to do this mod.

Doing the tps switch part is optional, but worthwhile.

I would highly recommended the roadsurge shift box if you want full line pressure + full gear control. It made my auto worth owning after I bought that box, It was awesome. (just don't ever put it in first over 5mph. I did once at 20 and I thought my eyes fell out)

I second the roadsurge auto shift box..Unless you want to go the really cheap route, then check the tech section in drivetrain..

Its possible there could be increased driveline wear, but nobody had any issues that I've heard

That's how I run my car and I use a hurst ratchet shifter to shift it. Check this for how to wire it up, you can use the stock shifter out of an auto as well: Kiggly Racing - kigglyracing.com

I agree witb the forced four!

I did use a relay, resistor and ecm link to ground out the blue wire when i hit whatever percentage of tps I wanted while i was deciding on the forced four though
