Can the 2g trans pan fit/bolt on a 1g auto trans?
The 2g Mitsu part number is MD751252 (thanks DSMPT)

I've read the 2g auto trans pan holds more fluid, is this correct?

Can the 2g auto trans filter fit on a 1g trans valvebody?
If so, what's the Mitsu part number?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply

Turns out the 2g filter is a different part number and doesn't seem to be interchangeable.

Curious if there's a capacity difference on the 2 pans though?

2g is slightly bigger maybe 1/2 quart if i recall. I used the JB pan and it takes 8 quarts to fill my trans now

Normal 1g is a tad over 6 quarts so 8 is a nice bump.

At least with the 2g pan you can still get aftermarket ones, the 1g stock pan is gone in the US and only available scarcely over seas.

2g filter is a different part number and appears to NOT be interchangeable.
