1996 eclipse gsx spark problem HELP

Hi guys maybe u can help me i justed picked up a gsx the guy i bought it from said it use to have a 6bolt in it but he put a 7 bolt block and im not sure if the heads r new but he put a larger turbo on it and a apexi exguest system on it and also he put a Apexi fuel and air mixture system on it but he said the Apexi fuel system was on it before the engine swap and it ran fine but when he got it back it ran really rough and it seemed to run rich so he started digging around under the dash and now it does not start... When i got it home yesterday i put a batterie in it and it turns over fine and all lights come on in the dash but i checked for spark in each cylinider And nothing at all + the fuel pump does not kick in but i sappose it needs spark to regester the fuel pump to run but i have no idea please help and also do i need the Apexi system hooked up for the car to run ok if i can get spark Thanks GUYS
ps the car has a 5 speed and 2.0 engine . Could it have something to do with the alarm system. I will have pictures later today i hope. HOW CAN I CHECK IF THE ECU IS BAD????

the best way to check the ECU go to a junk yard find a car like yours and take the ECU out of it and plug it in your car see if it does the same thing chances are your ecu is fine, keep in mined your ECU has to be out in correctly because your ECU it self needs to be grounded if its screwed in then its grounded and its fine, now as far as not starting forget what he said he did to it start from scratch it migh be easier for you check the ignition timing change your spark plugs hook up the apexi system see if it works these cars are alot of trail and error my car gave me lots of trouble, also checkout the fuel pump take it out have it test or just buy a new on ( take the back seat out and your fuel pump is right there just on bolt it and lift it out of the tank) and see if that works if it turns over its either not getting spark or its not getting fuel i would investigate those to areas see if that helps anymore questions let me know

Ok thanks i will check the fuel pump tommorrow and today i was checking the ecu connections when i turned the key to the on position the engine light comes on for 3 seconds then goes off, is that a indication that the ECU is good or not .The APEXI is hooked up but I got the directions off the net for it so im gonna see if its hooked up right.Thanks i will keep u you updated.
