I found a 1992 talon tsi fwd with 185k, I haven't went to look at it yet trying to research information on these cars. Gotten alot of mixed information. It has had about $2500 worth of work done to it (struts, ecu, tires, batt and alternater) they said it starts but dies. They are tired of putting money into it, it now has a harness that's burnt up. (Haven't looked not sure which or what they are talking about) I'm sure someone on here knows already which one it is. It's clean car, been setting form 6-8months in Texas. They say I can start it and it moves but will die. Been offering to see where they are at on price they will not move from $650 because they paid 500 for tires (brand new with warranty also battery). Any ideas is this worth it? Issues with the tranny? Anything I should look for? Any help will be amazing!
