I Just wanted to post and say hello after being away from the car scene for a few years. This is actually my 3rd dsm , my first being a 1991 galant vr4. This is my second talon , I got really lucky and found a 1 owner 92 6bolt with 100k on the dial. The car is really in perfect condition , I couldn't believe it. The guy is a doctor and bought the car In December of 1991 in Georgia. The only issue the car has is it needs a mass air flow sensor. I am currently In the process of replacing all the belts and the water pump, I replaced all the exhaust studs with stainless units also. My only conflict is deciding what to do with the mass air flow sensor as I don't want to hack anything up. I'm aware of the 2g to 1g conversion and also the use of the maf translator. Maybe I'm lazy but having to collect a bunch of used parts to hack together doesn't excite me much. Maybe I'm overthinking this? It just seems like using the gm maf is a much cleaner setup.
