well im planning on taking my throttle body friday to check and clean it out. is there a gasket that is on there? if so should i buy another one?

Replace both gaskets.

yes it has 2 gaskets 1 for the t-body elbow and 1 between the t-body and intake manifold so you might as well get them so you dont have boost leaks.

also there is a page on vfaq on how to use o-rings for the flapper shaft seals and if they have never been replaced before it would be a good thing to do.

After checking four throttle bodies and all shaft seals puked at around 5 psi. I would change those seals. They can be had for $4.50.

+1...those things leak boost.
