was just drivin on interstate and car randomly died, had to tow it home, looked at it and there was a fus blowed, put another one in, blew it too, fixed all the electrical problems, now car will crank and crank but wont fire, and its gettin spark to all cyclinders, anyone know what might be causin this?

Are u getting any fuel if u are then it's time to look at timing also u might want to look at doing a compression test and a leak down test that's all i can think of right now also double check your wiring and make sure every thing is hooked up right plus all your fuse.

he didnt say that was the only things that were needed to run a car,

if the car has a good consistent spark , and fires when it needs to
has adequate fuel pressure and injects fuel when it needs to
and has air, or the ecu is properly monitoring the airflow to calculate fuel needed
then the car should run.

if it is an electrical issue , then it will be causing issues with one of those three things; air, fuel or spark.

assuming it hasnt hat catastrophic failure.. you could check the compression to verify ( i would still count that as air )

it is gettin fuel, unhooked the line from the rail and its comin out, is the cas a possibility? also i hear the fuel pump whining after i try to start it so im sure its good, but if i dont sell it in the next couple of days ill check compession

slowchild it was the one at my radiator, but now its a big one next to the bov, think its a 30, tried a 40 and 60 and they both blew

U have a short somewhere in the wiring trace it and find any bear spot's in the wiring or see if it's cut somewhere then ether replace it or tape it with electrical tape where it's bear. to bad u ant in Kansas, because i would offer my time to come over and trace and find where it's shorting out at least that's what it seems to me if it keeps blowing the fuse .

Is it the blue fuse attached to the + battery post? That's your MPI fuse. Injectors won't fire if that is bad.

If it keeps blowing out, check your injector resistor box. Swap it with a known good one. That's the silver box in the middle of your firewall.

I had the same issue where my car just died and had to be towed home.

It would crank and crank like it wasn't getting fuel or spark, but it turned out that when we traced the electrical wires we found problem. There was a wire that had been poorly spliced under the car. This was located directly under the passenger compartment (middle of the car) and the at the connector.

After rewiring and properly splicing (who knows what the previous owner was thinking when he did such a poor job) with better weather protection this time, started right up and never had issue again.

Good luck, hope this helps.
