Hi hows it going im new to the dsm world but im learning. just recently got a 1990 talon awd turbo 1g went through and did a BLT found a few of course. Just did all minor thing belts, fluids, plugs and wires. one thing i can't seem to figure out i have so much slop in my shift linkage is there a way to adjust this or just replace it.

You can adjust it according to the manual. Or do some solid bushings for the shifter assembly. Can do a search for solid shifter bushings. Also I believe there is a write up about it on vfaq.com most of the part if not all you can get at HomeDepot.

Ok thanks and would you know where i can find a full vacuum line diagram for it i have look all over this site and even tried to Google it. it dont exactly know what its called but its on the driver side on the firewall it has vacuum lines running to it on the top side of it where another hose hooks in the plastic nipple is broke off at the base. i know it probley sounds like a dumb question but what is this thing called so i can replace it.

This is the first thing that came up when i did a google search.

ya said it was a stupid question thanks though

also everything on car is stock other than aftermarket boost gauge why is it reading im running 15 psi at full spool if its only stock shouldn't i be at around 7 to 10 maybe this is my first turbo car so i dnt know.

It could be that the vacuum hose is ran from the positive pressure nipple of your J-pipe to your waste gate and that is what your wastegate spring is made to release at.

Could look stock but isn't.

Also that diagram is called the Vodoo vacuum diagram

They sell solid shifter bushings on ebay. They work fine, I have them in my car.
