so i found this talon on ebay for 10 grand...i know its one of a kind but is it worth that kind of money? Or is it one of those vehicles where the monetary value is hard to pinpoint due to the fact that there is only one? I like the body but 1st gen talons (non-fittipaldi) in my opinion are much better looking, too many slits and stuff to it. Looks like a cross between my old 91 talon and my 90 300zx.

Dude there are a bunch of threads on this car, A quick search would have revealed these. Long story short, No. Wait till he drops the price till 5k then buy it. It does have low mileage and in the end it is your decision.

If you have money to buy a rare car, and keep it in a garage then you should buy it. Otherwise think about what happens if you ever get into a fender bender, or hit a dog. How could you find replacement body parts for it. I believe it is best for a rich collector that has money to let it sit in a garage and look at it. If you take it far from stock form then it will lose its value. I say if you can get it for a really good deal then it will be a fun car to have.

Looks like the exhaust has been changed. I remember the older pics of the rear looking a little different. So someone with a one off dsm has no remorse in modifying it?

Just to show you. Looks like a borla muffler. Sorry. Had to take a screenshot to capture it.

So just because someone decided to put a body kit on a car and add their name makes it worth 10k?? Doesn't make sense to me. Ill just go buy a similar kit if I wanted to for 500 and a talon for 1500 and call it good.

LOL Justin....you should get your Pops to buy it, he'd be stylin'!
Nah, him and I are going to split a Supra when / if I can ever get him to part with his GTO before that thing starts losing it's value.

It would be cool to own a one-of-a-kind DSM, but I'm not a fan of the appearance or the color....but it could grow on me if the price was right. ;)
