Whats up guys, went to the track yesterday and ran a [email protected] with a 1.88 60ft on the T25 with only these mods,

-Apexi air filter
-Injen intake pipe
-Apexi downpipe & Dunk cat-back exhaust
-Evo9 BOV
-Hallman boost controller

-Completely stock 7bolt motor
-Stock clutch
-Stock side mount intercooler and piping...more like hosing ROFL
-Stock fuel system
-Stock ECU, no pippyback anything

Cars weight was 3380 lb. with me in it and the spare tire in the rear with less than a 1/4 tank of gas a couple weeks ago when I put it on the scale...since then the cruise control was deleted and on this run the spare tire was removed and again with less than 1/4 tank of gas

boost spikes to 21psi and drops to about 13-15psi depending on which gear or when I look at the gauge, haha

I think without changing anything I can pull off a 13.9xx with just some more practice running the car...just hope the stock clutch will last

I know that the T25 is a waste of time, but I just wanted to see how fast it could really take me...I'm wondering what other times people have run on the T25...let me know

Hmmm.. Don't know what to say. As long as the fuel system can take it I don't see why you can;t hit a 13 with a better launch.

maybe because 21psi on a t25 is a deathwish?

Oh i know...like I said I just wanted to see how much I can push it with only the mods I have

It's spiking, he's not actually purposely at 21 psi. Sick run man good job, good luck getting into the 13's!

Thanks dude...

I guess I should of added that yesterday before the 14.08 I ran a 14.2xx holding 16psi pretty good and not really dropping off...so I gave the hallman a full turn and i got a 14.1xx followed by the 14.08 afterwards...

Like I said...I'm just pushing to the limits with what I have...I'm not worried about blowing that turbo...a bigger one is on standby aready :thumb:

I don't think the T25 is a waste, I think it's cool that you are giving it all it can handle before just throwing another turbo on. I have never owned a 2G myself, but one of the guys that started Connecticut Club DSM with me, John Sweet, ran 13.55@97 in his '95 GSX back in 1998 or so. I want to say that I heard someone hit 12.9 with the T25 but I think the car was lightened significantly. Anyway, cool stuff and hope to see you run quicker!

Since it is a 99 a ECU reflash with SD will net you very good results
Maybe get you in the mid 13 sec
Remember that your good time is because of the AWD with that trap speed in a FWD you'll be in the high 14 sec

The t25 doesnt make no power past 18 psi. Why was it spiking they usually hit a set amount for a split second then drops like a rock

How is that set in stone? So 18psi is the limit? You know this, how? So all setups and all engines react exactly the same in your head? Obviously, he's doing something right considering his E.T.. Even when you're presented with proof he did well, you still want to break out your sick-knowledge of the T25? I laugh at you, sir.

Considering that any 2G is in Good running condition, With just a 3'' Full Exhaust it is very common is it not to run low 14s to high 13s... either way Great Run,.and work on those 60s,,

What Turbo do you have on stand by?

Maybe this weekend I'm gonna go back to the track and run the car the same way it is...I think I can pull a 13.99 or hopefully better

As far as next mods...I think I just wanna keep pushing the T25...I'm gonna get it on the dyno just to get some numbers...then I think I'll do a FP 17psi actuator and maybe a fuel pump and injectors and I'm also thinking of trying out the HKS V-Pro engine managment system...I'm one of the technicians at Ivey Tune and we're a Pro Dealer for HKS...the V-Pro is an awesome engine manage system...kinda like a DSMlink in that you keep the stock ECU but have the tuning ability of an AEM and sometimes even better than AEM...we do lots of EVOs here and the V-pro is just amazing...we'll see what happens

Also a 2step should help my 60 foot

Cool thanks dude, I'm gonna keep those numbers in mind as I continue to push the T25

PTE 6262...but I'm not ready for it...yet :D

Nice numbers dude. My goal was to hit 13's with the T-25 a few months ago but then I got an Evo 3 16G and I never looked back.

My best was a 14.44 @ 92.45 with the T-25. That was with a 1.842 60'. That was about a month ago and these were my mods:
Injen Intake, ETS Street 7" FMIC, 1G BOV, Magnecor 8.5 mm Spark Plug Wires, NGK BPR6ES, Hallman Pro Rx MBC, FIC 750 cc injectors, Aeromotive A1000 FPR, Walbro 255HP, Megan Racing downpipe and cat-back exhaust

Engine Management:
Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 Cable, EvoScan, ECUFlash, 5000 rpm 2-step

Engine Internals:
Stock

Drivetrain Modifications:
ACT 2100, ACT Streetlight Flywheel, Energy Suspension Shift Bushings

Suspension Modifications:
Ebay Front and Rear strut Tower Bars, 17x7 ADR Sokudo Wheels, Yokohama ADVON W4S. 225/45/17 Tires

The problem with my setup is that I could only hold 11 psi to redline. My car was also terribly misaligned if that counts for anything and I had a boost leak from the BOV flange that I still can't fix. The car weighed 3305 with me in it.

I think your next mod should be the FP 17 psi actuator, should help you hold more boost to redline.

my best with the t25

14.042 @94.73, 1.880, 1997 gsx,
this was in october last year at new england dragway good luck with your setup this year im chasing a 12.5 with my new 16 setup.
Matt

That seems slow to me. 14.44. I used to run lower 14.2xs with my neon with stock 420a and bolt-ons. I am sure with those mods you could have done much better.

I really need to get my car to a track and check it's performance out tho, so maybe that is all it can do. :hmm:

I thought it was too slow too and that is why I gave up on the T-25. I was able to get a 13.4 with my 16G last week on 17 psi and a few small boost leaks I have just fixed(with the BOV leak being fixed tomorrow). Should be getting 12's this weekend.

I think the thing that is key with the T-25 is making it hold as much boost as possible. It wouldn't matter what bolt-ons I had if I could only hold 11 psi in the top of my rev range, which is the only part of the rev range that is used on the strip.

The Forced Performance 17 psi actuator is a a huge benefit to the T25. With out it on my 98 Talon AWD I would spike at 16 and drop to 12 then hold. With this actuator I am able to spike at 18 for a bit then drop to like 15 through out most of the rev. THose few pounds will help. good luck in your run for 13's.

I went to Mitsubishi & Evo VS Sti/WRX day at e-town yesterday and broke into the 13s'...all I've done since the last post was the FP 17psi actuator and I installed the HKS V-pro and had Sean Ivey give it a tune...I also won third place in the DSM stock turbo heads up class...then again there was only three people in the field so I actually :tease: lost HAHA

first pass - 14.1 (missed 3rd)
second pass - 13.8
third pass - 13.767 @97.17 with a 1.852 60ft
