Now for The times

As always fontana track can't hook for shit on top of my shitty tires

First run 12.6@ 117 60ft 2.0

Second run 12.5@119 60ft 2.0

Thrid run 12.8@ 116 60ft 2.2 Mess up on the launch big time

Forth run. 13.0@ 100 60ft 1.9 maf came off halfway down the track

Fifth run 13.8 @ ??? Spark plugs died

Last run. And personal best. 12.2 @ 119 60ft 1.9
Temperatures went cold some reason track hooked better


my set up is pretty basic

TDO6 20g "frank 2" at 30 psi
E85
stock short block with 264/272 cams on the head stock intake mani
act 2600 on stock diff and tranny
dyno at 380hp 375Tq
all supporting mods
on my best run I had to lower the launch to 5500rpm and lower the tire pressure to 30psi to hook a bit better

I would spin like crazy when i launch at 5760rpm and get 2.0 60ft
drag gurus any tips how to launch a bit better ??

ya i have a couple tips get better tires and run somewhere else. but dont dump the clutch, its bad on the tranny and transfer case. in va letting the clutch out smooth but fast, kinda burning your clutch alittle bit(if that makes sense) helped im 60ft 1.8-1.6 was my 60ft. launching at 5500rpm and 12psi.

thanks for the tips i noticed that if i slipped it a bit it would hook better

Nice mph, definitely a 11 sec car with a better launch. Its nice to c that the frank turbos are still around 10 years later. I have a similiar setup to yours with a frank 5 minus cams cant wait to see what it runs at the track.

Nice numbers for the 46-trim Garrett compressor! The 119mph will yeild an 11.8 or 11.7 with a good launch and 60ft.
