hooking up an air fuel gauge on my 1g eclipse 2.0 non turbo. i need to know which wire on the 02 sensor is the signal wire?

Any gauge that hooks up to the stock o2 sensor is useless. The stock o2 sensor is a narrowband type. You want a Wideband o2 sensor to monitor your a/f ratio with. Something like an aem, or innovative.

But to answer your question, the white wire should be the signal wire.

Check Vfaq.com that gauge is useless.

They are not useless, they keep the simple minded ones entertained and tell you if your narrowband O2 sensor is dead or your stuck in open loop.

The wire from the blinky light connects to the white wire on pin 4 @ the ECU.

There is also a easy to connect to terminal by the blower motor as shown on the VFAQ site like Victor alluded to Finding the O2 Sensor Wire
