Ive been doing some searching and im debating on replacing the stock water return line with a 6an line, depending on fitment issues.

From what ive gathered, if I go the braided route, teflon is the correct material. However, ive seen pics of most ss braided lines, and a handful of nylon braided lines. I plan on getting some DEI fireproof insulation to wrap around the line.

Ill likely have some nylon braided teflon line leftover from the fuel lines im running. Can I use this w/ DEI or should I use ss to be on the safe side?

Teflon isn't needed.

Both the standard SS and nylon braided hose are both exactly the same other than the outer covering. I've used both and never had issues with either. The SS is a little more forgiving close to heat sources but not impervious. With some smart routing either works perfectly fine.
