when fitting a vacuum line over onto a nylon tube (for my boost gauge install), just to help it seal and be leak free, is super glue jel ok, as long as it doesnt touch the end of the tube and get caught in the vacuum right?? Someone please tell me its ok

super glue might eat through that vacuum tube line. I have seen it happen before with people who ghetto tune cars. I just took a piece of vacuum line and put it over the nylon line and the T fitting and zip tied both ends tight so it couldn't leak out. Easiest way for me at least.

damn, u think so???? its on there tight i can tell u that, if i have to ill just snip it off, but u think itll just hold by itself, with a zip tie without leaking, its 1/8 nylon tubing and 7/64 vacuum line. Someone help me out here, im in the process of hooking up my boost gauge, and need this info ASAP, by the way, the nylon tube is being connected to another nylon tube same size via this vacuum hose, thats what its being used for

I did the same as you did and have had no problems. Previously I did use superglue, but I suspected it was leaking.

ya, i took mine apart and put just a ziptie over it like you guys suggested, i hope tomorrow when i finish installing it i dont have any leaks, it appears to be on there tight though
