Yet Another Question about T-Belts

Sorry, I did a search on this and found a lot of different answers.
So I'm just going to ask. What parts do I need to get when replacing the t-belt? Right now I have water pump, tensioner, and t-belt. Am I missing anything?

If you're not yanking your balance shafts, you'll need a balance shaft belt, too.

Also, you'll need to make or buy some special tools - the info is on the vfaqs.

I've read those as well as pretty much everything else. Can I have a shopping list please. Thanks. I'm so frustrated with this I might take it to Satan and have them do all the work.

while i did my timing belt at 60K this is what i replaced.

Timing Belt
Timing Belt Idler Pully
Timing Belt Tenshioner Pulley
Balance Shaft Tenshioner Pully
Balance Shaft Belt
Timing Belt Hydraulic Tenshioner

List of things I replaced i suggest you so while you have your timing belt off:

replace:
Alternator/waterpump belt
Air Conditioning belt
Power Steering belt
Cam gear seals they were like 12.00 for both from satan
Waterpump

all these cost me around $430

you probably don't need to replace all the timing belt pulleys but i'd rather be safe then sorry.

thats is just for parts. i paid a friend of mine who is a ASE MasterTech acouple hundred for the labor it took him like 2 hours to install it all. It would have taken me probably a whole dayor or two to make sure i didn't #### anything up.

All the above plus EVERY Front Case Oil Seal & the BSE Kit & check the Harmonic Balancer Pulley.

id replace the pullys while you are in there, mine were shot

i just replaced my water pump and drive belts. i am only 16 and i have no more than all the right sockets and wrenches, with the addition of a socket elbow and a breaker bar. when you take it all apart, you can check the pulleys to see if they need to be replaced. make sure you know how to put the gasket and water pump on correctly(dont touch the gasket with greasy hands, and dont touch the iner face of the water pump with greasy hands, if you touch the pump, wipe with cloth with carb cleaner and wipe away, dont touch it again). its all bolts and nuts. also you will need to put the car on jacks and jack the motor up and undo the driver side motor mount. its not to bad if you dont take the cams and crank out of time. i saved 600 bucks by doing it myself, good luck!

$430 That's a lot of money for parts. And then paying $320 for labor. I won't be able to buy the Sparco Torino seats I so really wanted.
BTW, parents won't help me pay for anything, but they are having my sister's car looked at because she screwed up the front of her car trying to park it. Maybe if my parent's knew how much more important a t-belt change was then a bent hood they'd help me out with the cost.
