for track purposes, what do you guys think is better for a GS-T?
A ballbearing turbo like the L2R from AGP, or a conventional, like a 20G?

I swear I've been trying to decide on a turbo ever since I bought my GST this past October :cry: . I already know what supporting mods I'm going to buy, it just the friggin turbo choice that's killing me.

Oh by the way, I'm only looking to achieve a low-mid 12 1/4 time, but want to leave room to make it faster if I so decide to. can any of you guys help? :thumb:
 
I "think" that the L2R would have a faster spool up time. The 20g will have more lag. On a strip either would probley be good. For a road coarse you might want to try the L2R though. Both are good turbos. I know how you feel! It is a very hard choice!

Anybody else? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong too!
 
12s is possible with a 20g.. with drag radials/slicks.. a bigger turbo like the green/l2r should be able to break into 12s with street tires if tuned right imo.. and it will be a killer turbo for highway battles..
 
that's very true. I'm still kinda leaning towards the AGP turbos because they are all direct bolt-ins. As I've been hearing that you need an install kit for something like a TD06 20G. yeah, the turbo alone for the 20G is 300$ cheaper. but if you figure the install kit and etc, it would probably total out to 1400, which is the same price as the L2R. ARRRGH!!!! Excuse me......I gotta go beat my head against the wall again :cry: !!!
