I've spent a few days searching/participating in various threads without getting an answer and I feel that it will just be more time efficient to come out and ask, if I get flamed so be it.

I'm buying parts today/tomorrow, starting with gauges and need to know if my thinking here is correct. I am planning on running a ECU+ or DSMLink. I will also have a PLX-300 WB (one with the display). My question is since I will have a wideband and one of the other two ECU management devices, can I get away with just a Boost gauge and EGT? Do I really need a Fuel Pressure gauge with WB? I'll already know my mix is right, therefore my fuel pressure should be right.

Thats what I would do.. just get a boost gauge and an EGT. You don't need a fuel pressure gauge unless you have a adjustable fuel pressure reg and your running a bigger fuel pump with possible bigger injectors. It would be nice to have it though... but they usually just sell them to bolt on to the Regulator. Hope this helped..

With DSMLink you can log the WB O2 and do away with the display on the PLX. The combo boost/vac gauge is a must. IMO a real oil pressure and water temp gauge should also be in there. FP gauge is not needed until you add an AFPR, and it will probably come with one, but is nice to confirm the pressure when stock. EGT is also not critical, but a nice to have gauge.

But yes, you can get away with the boost/vac and EGT gauge.

Okay with all that being said, I guess I should list my mods:

Boost and EGT Gauges
Megan Racing Catback & DP
Blitz BOV
Dejon Tool 3" Intake
Walbro 255 and FPR
650's
Evo III or 50 Trim
FMIC
DSM Link or ECU+

So now would just the Boost and EGT gauge be efficient, and yes I'm going to have the PLX display on as well to verify that the mix is right, of which I would think that if the mix is right I would have fuel pressure..

The fpr should have a gauge on it so you can set your base pressure, but you do not need one inside the car. Yes the boost/vac and egt will be enough, but DO NOT tune with the egt gauge. I personnaly would think about an oil pressure and water temp in the near future as stock ones are crap, but that's just me.
