Xtd stage 3 clutch. Soft pedal?

Just bought and installed a XTD stg 3 clutch and iam breaking it in right now. This is my second stage 3 Xtd and there is a noticable difference from the one i took out to this one. The previous clutch had a pretty stiff pedal feel to it. This new one is lighter than stock it feels like. Anything to be concerned about?

Yea that is'nt normal for those clutches, on my 90 Laser the pedal feel was very stiff. I would make sure you have no fluid leaks and make sure your master and slave are in good shape.

Im not losing pressure or fluid. I will double check though. The clutch does engage and shift like it should. I have researched and found that some people have this happen with no problem. Its really weird. It was the first thing i noticed. What else could cause it? Weak pressure plate?

Well IMO if your car has alot of miles like any of the 1g cars I've owned the master and slave cylinders are due for a replacement anyways. But that clutch being an easy clutch feeling is not normal from my past encounters with XTD clutchs.

Yea I know thats why it freaks me out a lil.
