i have replaced clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder along with a brand new clutch setup and i have bled the clutch probably 10 different times in like 4 different ways and i still have a very spongy soft pedal and i cant get it to go into gear while running. this is starting to become a major headache since i have replaced pretty much everything and still i cant drive it!!! now here is one thing that i have not done... i replaced my 1g tsi fwd tranny with a 2g tranny. i am usung a 1g slave cylinder on the 2g tranny. could this be my problem????????

My talon did this, I had a pinhole leak in the line from the master to slave cylinder. Check for possible leaks. I also tried to run a turbo slave cylinder on a non turbo car. It fit and it pushed the shift fork but it wouldnt go into gear either. Might wanna try to make sure its moving the full ammount it needs to.

Mine Is Like That On My 1g And Gets Hard To Put Into Gear When It Warms Up
I Have Tried Everything And Still Have This Problem,
I Think Mine Is A Clutch I Just Got It 2 Weeks Ago.

Check The Fork Like Stated Above And For Leaks And If Everything Is Fine Try To Bleed The System Again

I JUST CHECKED WITH ALLDATA AND YOUR PROBLEM IS THE slave cylinder.
THE 1G PART NUMBER IS MD733620 AND THE 2G PART NUMBER IS MD749823 THAT IS WHY YOU CAN'T GET INTO GEAR
HOPE THIS HELPS

He stated in the first post, he already replaced the slave/master. There could be a number of possibilities causing his issue.
Improper bleeding, bad adjustment, bent fork or not shimmed, etc.

Hit your capslock button!

They work the same though; the line/bleeder just goes on in a slightly different spot. My cousin has a Hyundai Elantra one on his 2G.
