WTH is this noise?

Guys, I'm really starting to get worried. What the hell is this noise, now it sounds like it's coming from the pan toward the front, is this rod knock in your opinion? The oil pressure dummy light isn't on, and haven't hooked up my new gauge yet (you can see the new sender, the old one didn't work). Ugh... Help? Thanks guys!

First of all what are you leaking all over the garage floor in your video? It sounds like your PCV valve! mine makes the same noise LOL. Grab it and hold it down firm and make sure the hose hooked up to it, is on all the way. Does the noise stop?

I'll check it, the pcv is on the back of the valve cover, sounds more like it's coming from the bottom. The liquid was coolant, I had just replaced the thermostat and got water everywhere. =)

Yeah its on the back of the valve cover. Mine sounded like it was coming from the bottom and back. but it was really on top LOL.
Pinch the hose and see if the noise goes away.

Well, the jury is in... thrust washer pieces were found in the pan. Looks like this ol 7 bolt has seen better days. Fortunately, I picked up a low mileage 6 bolt longblock and am doing the swap and will hold me over until my built 6-bolt is completed. =\ Again, this car ended up to be not such a good deal and it really makes me wonder if they knew it had serious problems. >=|

I guess, just blows that I bought a car that had SERIOUS problems and needed a few grand dumped into it. Made that $1800 car cost that much more. =\ On a positive note I picked up the 6-bolt longblock that I'll be running temporarily for $300 and was low mileage and very clean. Got a 6 bolt block crank, rods and head disassembled for $150 and picked up ARP main and head studs, balance eliminator kit, and getting dsmgraveyard's evo 9 with 1g piston (arp bolts) kit and using my 1g rods as cores to send back to them for $599. Reconditioned and ready to balance and go! Just need to get it punched .020", get some bearings and get the head redone and i'll have a hell of a motor on a budget. I'm sure the 6-bolt longblock I picked up will work a hell of a lot better than that tired 7 bolt, nontheless, it still sucks.
