WTF!!!! Alarm keeps going off

Damn alarm keeps going off whenever I open up the back hatch! What the heck is going on here? Last night I had a green security light come on and now today whenever I open the back hatch it comes on.

are you opening the hatch with a key?

are the doors locked?

all doors are unlocked and I am opening it with the hatch lever

kind of a shot in the dark, but you could try unhooking the - battery cable for a min.. maybe the alarm is all tweaked out *shrug*

Happened to me too, well a little different, every time I unlocked my car with the keyless, then opened the door the alarm would still go off, so I just stopped using it, but after like 2 months I tried again for the heck of it and it was working fine. I think the alarm is just a tempermental animal.
