alarm, wtf

so ive been driving my car to school for a couple of days, (i got my car a week and a day ago) and a few times ive walked up to it, unlocked the car, and opened the door, and what do you know?!?!?!?!?.............................(suspense...)..........................................................the alarm goes off, but i dont have any remotes for the alarm that i didnt know my car had, and it turns off once i put the key back in. can someone tell me why my car has an alarm that i dont know of and why it goes off when i dont set it.

happened to me i just stuck the key back in the hole and turned it to turn it off ... worked for me i dont know if it will do the same for you though give it a try next time it happens

yea putting the key back in turns it off, but its happened 3 times so far...anyone know why?

That happened to me as well. I couldn't figure out why it was happening but like said before putting the key in to turn it off makes it stop. The only thing I can tell you is that with my car it eventually stopped all together. So either I started pressing the right button (don't see how thats possible) or the problem just fixed itself. Hopefully the problem will fix itself out for you.

It's happened to me but the dang thing wouldn't turn off even if I put the key in it, I would have to let it go for like 10 minutes then it would shut off. I disconnected my battery for 15 min. and it has yet to come back.
