Wrong tire size result in incorrect speedometer Galant 1g?

Hello, I didn't follow the recommended tire size for the Mitsubishi Galant 1G as a result, my wheels being smaller, the speedometer is incorrect. Between 10 and 15 km/h more.

I plan to keep the tires and don't mind making modifications. I would like to know if you have any idea which Mitsubishi model I could get a larger speedometer ratio gear that would allow me to correct the speed difference on the speedometer?

I was using tire size 205/60/15 and now I'm using 195/50/15.

You’re seeing an 8.9 to 9% difference in display speed versus actual speed.

Assuming the same diametral pitch, something with more teeth is needed to “slow down” the speedometer.

How many teeth does your gear have? I’m seeing the Galant had either a 29 or 30 tooth gear.

Mid-90’s Mirages had either a 30-tooth gear (MD741191) or a 31-tooth gear (MD741834). I do not know compatibility, unfortunately.

My gear is currently stuck in the gearbox. I've tried several methods, but I didn't force it too hard because I didn't want to break it. I'll try again as soon as I have time. Thanks for the Mirage gears references. Do you think one or two extra teeth would be enough to correct the problem?
I also saw that it's possible to install a 2G speedometer sensor and gear in a 1G. I'll let you know as soon as I've managed to remove the speedometer gear from my Galant.
