I recently had my cyl. head cleaned up and installed new head gasket and other misc gaskets. After I got everything together and did the Taboo vacuum removal, leaving port p open for boost gauge .I primed it via pulling the motor fuse and the coil pack ( which i assume is fine). After priming I reconnect the motor fuse and the coil pack and it just cranks over and over. Then pulled plugs and tried to get all the air out to verify it got primed. Put plugs back in reconnected wires 4-1-2-3 and went to try again still just cranking. Look over all connectors and everything is in. I did notice that the fuel line connected to filter seems like it may be seeping.

My question after that novel is by removing the fpr solenoid hoses, running hose from manifold to fpr (which i hear changes fuel pressure) and having a evo 9 pump, could i be overrunning it to the point it wont start ?

I'm just trying to eliminate ideas till i get home later and

- check ECT sensor
-clean all engine connectors
-double check coil config
-compression check
-Use starter fluid
-Pull my hair out
-Check for bad gas (car sat for about 2 months)

cleared P0335 and rechecked. Won't come back. Removing negative cable and doing more diagnostics tomorrow.

Crank position sensor.

sensor on the rear portion of the front cover... commonly mistaken with the ac compressor plug IIRC

You ARE A GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats all it was. I dodn't realize how easy it was to mix those up.
