Worth picking up? 6bolt 2g unfinished swap..

Hey guys, came across this a few days ago, and have been thinking about picking it up. Its obviously unfinished, but looks hopeful. At the same time, it looks beat! Its only 2 hours from me, and i could get it pretty easily. Looks like it has enough spares to be worth $1500....Let me know your opinion!

I know the guy that's selling it. It looks pretty decent in person. I actually bought my FMIC kit from him, He's a stand up guy. I'd take 1500 cash in hand and go check it out. Then if you like it low ball him like 1000 then go up from there.

Ya man the car looks pretty clean. You have a good chance for getting it at $1000 if you play your cards right. Do you know what kind of boost he was running with the 14b? Just something to ask, especially if it still has the stock fuel set-up. But I think $1000 is a steal for what your getting. Just remember AWD! Wish mine was a gsx!

Doubleot, thats great to know. I sure love to hear an unbiased opinion. Id really love to meet up with fellow DSMers in utah. I think ill email him on it. And see what i can do. Do you know if he is legit on it being a runable engine, doubleot?

well, looking at the car, if it is a 6 bolt in the car,how does it have a 2g manifold on it? is it a 2g head? cause i see that they got the c.a.s with the rewire job done???????????????????sure it is not a walked 7 bolt that had the cas put on to cover the issue up? i would look into it further. just check the oil pan

its have a 7 bolt intake manifold id guess that it most likely has a 7 bolt head

You know I'm not sure. The only real way to know is to start it up. But like I said, He's a stand up guy. I guess it's all up to how much you can trust someone.
