Hey guys,
Want to run this past the experts before I destroy my ECU and cry.
The goal: To use my FPR to run HI fans and EGR to run LO fans using outputs on DSMLink.
The plan: At the ECU connector, I plan to cut the wire from pin 6 (EGR solenoid) and attach that to pin 21 (cooling relay low) and then the same with pin (3 fuel pressure solenoid) and pin 20 (cooling relay high).
Now, that I believe should work without issue. However, is there any issue in bridging the connection rather than cutting and wiring? Basically having the 2 drivers be attached to 1 wire, that way if for some crazy reason I mess up my cooling settings in link or there is some sort of issue, the stock ECU control will still be effective.
Any input appreciated. Trying to avoid wiring in excessive relays and such into the engine bay, prefer to use as much stock wiring as possible.
