wire tuck/ ecu placement issues?

Ok i did a search for this and couldn't really find anything helpful. well i am rebuilding the motor in my eclipse (2gen 420a), and I figured I would go ahead and do a wire tuck and clean up the engine bay well I would like to put the ecu under the passenger seat, my only issue is i'm not sure how safe this would be. So finally the question I need to ask is would i have any issues with the ECU placement and is there anything I should do to protect the ecu/seat/ carpet.

It will be fine there the only problem you may have is if a drink were to spill

The stock amp sits under there factory. I'd find a factory amp bracket and bolt the ecu on that.

It mounts securely to the chassis, and keeps it a little above the carpet.

Why run the wires that far back? Plenty of room under the dash to place it. I will be placing mine under the airbag when I complete my shave.

im keeping the ac and all that so I dont wanna take up foot room with extra things and the ecu fits perfectly under the seats, and the seat still slides like it should ill post pics as i do it so you can see what im doing to it, plus ill eventually b installing a laptop where the passenger air bag is, so less wires in the way for that the better cause i plan to install it on tracks and use hydraulics and all that jazz, to move the laptop.
